Those in the shopping know consider Antwerp second only to Milan in regards to shopping for the latest styles. Without doubt, Antwerp is the fashion capital of Belgium. This is largely due to the 'Antwerp Six', six designers who graduated from the Academy of Fashion in the early 80's and fimly placed Antwerp on the fashion map of Europe. Easy Access to Shopping HeavenAntwerp is easily accessible from Brussels, Rotterdam and Amsterdam via the efficient train system in this part of Europe. Additionally, Centraal Station is a gateway into the heart of Antwerp, giving you instant access to the Diamond Quarter, the Fashion Center and many 16th and 17th century buildings. Designer Fashion, Fun ShoppingFashion forward stores aptly named 'Catwalk' and 'Chic' are found next to the likes of affordable H & M while walking along with crowds of bargain hunters.
